Aaron Freeman's (Gene Ween) new band FREEMAN started their tour last week in New York. If you haven't heard already Gener has a new band...FREEMAN. The first album of all-original material he recorded with Raleigh’s Chris Boerner (The Foreign Exchange, The Hot at Nights, Jeanne Jolly), Durham’s Brad Cook (Megafaun), Kyle Keegan (Lost in the Trees), and Dave Godowsky will be out this July. The Dean Ween Group (featuring Dave Dreiwitz on bass, Joe Kramer on guitar, Ray Kubian on drums, and and vocalist for Moistboyz, Guy Heller) will be performing concerts this spring and summer in advance of a new album release, scheduled for this fall. Their set features brand new material as well as a handful of Ween classics. The band's debut will take place at Baltimore's Ottobar on March 22.
Deaner to reunite with Glenn McClelland! The ex-Ween members will be joining Brother's Keeper for a show at the Shakedown Bar in Vail, CO. Jan, 16th. Click here for ticket info.

Dean Ween Teams With Les Claypool For New Fishing Reality Show.
The show will feature Deaner and Claypool venturing out on the water with various celebrity guests. Not only will Deaner become a reality show celebrity, he will will be the doing music for the soundtrack. Matt Stone and Trey Parker will be producing the show. I'm looking forward to it. Are you? He describes his band as a combination of the best musicians he has encountered over the years: Guy Heller, Claude Coleman, Chuck Treece, Dave Dreiwitz, Glenn McClelland, Joe Kramer, Andrew Weiss, Joe Russo, Scott Metzger, Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri, and more. Josh Homme will be producing the record and those lucky enough to have heard some of the new material say it will blow you away. Stay tuned...
Sorry for the lack of updates! If you haven't heard already Deaner has been busy. He is currently recording new Moistboyz material and even more exciting his first solo record: MIGGY.
